KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee volleyball team will look to close out the 2017 season with its final three matches at home, starting with their match against the Ole Miss Rebels on Friday at Thompson-Boling Arena at 7 p.m.

The Lady Vols (11-13, 4-11 SEC) are coming off two tough road loss at the hands of the Auburn Tigers on last Thursday night and a five-set loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide.

The match will be available on the SEC Network+ and the WathcESPN app.

FINAL STAND

Tennessee will play its final matches of the season at home, starting with Ole Miss on Friday night.
The Lady Vols are 8-4 in matches played at Thompson-Boling Arena this season.
Individual highs in home matcher this year: kills (20 – Tessa Grubbs), assists (30 – Hansen), digs (28 – Brooke Schumacher), blocks (11 – Alyssa Andreno) and aces (5 – Williams).

LAST WEEK

Tennessee dropped its final road matches of the season at Auburn on Thursday night and at Alabama on Sunday afternoon.
Brook Schumacher recorded 41 digs for the Lady Vols, and in doing so, became the 15^th member of the volleyball program to record 1,000 career digs. The 26 digs against Auburn marked her fifth match with 25 digs or more.
Sedona Hansen recorded her 14^th double-double of the season against Auburn with 25 assists and 16 digs. She has also recorded 20 or more assists in 16 matches this season.
Madison Coulter led Tennessee with 22 kills to average 2.44 kills per set and 24 total digs for an average of 2.67 digs per set.

Last Match: Freshman Tessa Grubbs led the Lady Vols with 13 kills, and freshman Sedona Hansen recorded her 13^th double-double of the season with 40 assists and 11 digs. Sophomore libero Brooke Schumacher had a career-best 20 digs.

FAMILY TIES

Madison Coulter's grandfather, Kenny Coulter, also was a student-athlete at Tennessee. Kenny lettered three years as a guard on the Tennessee basketball team from 1956-59. The Maryville, Tennessee, native was the Vols' second-leading scorer as a senior in 1958-59, averaging 14.0 ppg. A former college basketball official, Kenny now works as an officials' observer at UT home games. Madison is averaging 1.20 kills per set and is hitting .161 with 97 kills on the season. Madison has been starting for the Lady Vols since the Alabama match on Oct. 8.
Breana Jeter is the younger sister of former Lady Vol Kayla Jeter, who played for UT from 2008-14 as an outside hitter. Kayla finished her career at Tennessee with a .262 hitting percentage and 934 kills and 229 blocks. Breana has a current hitting percentage of .188 and averages 1.94 kills per set with 122 kills on the season.
Callie Williams is the daughter of a volleyball coach Jason Williams (assistant at Baylor) and a volleyball All-American in Cory Williams. Cory (Sivertson) Williams played volleyball at Baylor where she is the only volleyball player to be inducted into the Baylor Athletics Hall of Fame. Callie, a setter like her mom, has 414 assists this season averaging 4.55 assist per set.
Sedona Hansen is the daughter of a two-time WCWS National Champion Lisa Guise-Hansen. Lisa, was an infielder and outfielder from 1990-93, helping lead Arizona to a Women's College World Series National Championships in 1991 and 1993. She hit .230 in her career with 10 doubles and 59 RBI.
