KNOXVILLE, Tenn.

Mother Nature affected the Lady Vol softball team's schedule once again on Monday, as steady rains over the weekend and a large amount of standing water forced the cancellation of the squad's doubleheader tomorrow versus Appalachian State in Boone, N.C. The Big Orange was supposed to leave later this afternoon to make its initial visit to its Southern Conference neighbor but the contests will instead be rescheduled.

Tennessee (22-10/2-4 SEC) will host reigning Ivy League champion Princeton (0-2) for two games beginning at 3 p.m. on Thursday at Tyson Park. The Tigers opened their season yesterday by dropping both ends of a double-dip at Georgia Tech, 8-1 and 4-0.
