INCLEMENT WEATHER WREAKS HAVOC ON SOFTBALL'S WEEKEND SCHEDULE

Continuing weather problems created a rare off-weekend for the Lady Vol softball team on Saturday, as heavy rains and poor field conditions in Nashville resulted in the Belmont University Invitational being cancelled. In addition, Tennessee's home opener scheduled for Sunday afternoon against Morehead State was also wiped out. As a result, Co-Head Coaches Ralph and Karen Weekly's squad (4-4) will not take to the diamond again until Wednesday, Feb. 19, when Southern Conference foe Appalachian State (0-0) will visit Tyson Park for a twinbill starting at 3 p.m.
