Vols Freshman Simon Rea Loses Final Of Adidas Invitational

"We are really proud of Simon (Rea)," UT assistant coach Chris Mahony said. "He has given it his all this entire tournament. We know he is not playing at his highest level right now and he still made it to the final here. We are really excited about this season, everyone is playing with confidence and our new guys are fitting in nicely."
Tennessee junior Adam Carey, ranked No. 60 nationally, won his consolation bracket Sunday defeating the nation's No. 67 player Michael Yani of Duke 7-5, 6-4.
The Vols will next be in action at the National Indoor tournament Thursday-Sunday in Dallas, Texas.
