Cardoza has been a coach at many levels of volleyball, most recently spending the 2015 at Maryland as the volunteer assistant coach. Prior to being on the Maryland staff, he was an assistant coach for three years at the New York Institute of Technology.
While at NYIT, Cardoza helped the team to a 63-35 record and two appearances in the NCAA Division II Tournament. He was also previously an assistant at Concordia College, giving him four years of coaching experience at the Division II level.
He spent five seasons coaching at the Long Island Volleyball Club and the Long Island Volleyball Academy. His teams competed in the USAV junior national tournament four times and won two Garden Empire Volleyball Association regional titles.
Cardoza earned his undergraduate degree in criminal justice from NYIT in 2011.
