Lady Vols Sign Three-Time All-Sun Belt Performer Jalyn Stout

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee volleyball has announced the addition of three-time All-Sun Belt honoree Jalyn Stout to the roster.
A two-time AVCA Southeast All-Region First Team honoree, Stout finished the 2025 season with 345 kills, 457 assists, 330 digs, 66 blocks, and 29 aces. Stout was the only player in all of Division I to average at least 3.0 kills, 4.0 assists and 3.0 digs per set. Stout had 12 triple-doubles in 2025, and holds the NCAA record for the most triple-doubles in a career at 46.Â
Stout has started in 87 matches in her collegiate career, with the Gainesville, Florida native posting 1,112 kills, 1,545 assists, 1,041 digs, 142 blocks, and 91 aces. Stout is the only player in Sun Belt Conference history to have over 1,000 career kills, assists, and digs. Stout has been a consistent offensive performer in her career, finishing with double-digit kills in 62 matches. A top assister as well, Stout has had 20-plus assists in 30 contests.
In the 2023 season, Stout helped lead Coastal Carolina to its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2017 after winning the Sun Belt Tournament title. The Sun Belt Freshman of the Year in 2023, Stout finished that season with 365 kills, 506 assists, 319 digs, 35 blocks, and 29 aces. Stout followed that up with another stellar season in 2024, putting up 402 kills, 582 assists, 392 digs, 41 blocks, 34 aces. Stout also set the NCAA record for most triple-doubles in a single season during the 2024 season with 20, while also leading all Division I players with 26 double-doubles.
Before her college career, Stout helped lead Santa Fe High School to back-to-back 4A FHSAA State Championships in 2021 and 2022. Stout earned FHSAA 4A State Player of the Year honors and also garnered Big School Player of the Year honors. Stout helped lead Santa Fe to one of the best seasons in the country, guiding them to a No. 3 national ranking.
Stout now becomes the second player to join the Lady Vols for the 2026 season. Outside hitter Nia Hall was a recently announced addition as the team continues to bolster its roster ahead of the 2026 campaign.
