Andrew Strick

Andrew Strick enters his fourth season with the Tennessee volleyball program in 2022 and will serve as the program's graduate assistant.
A graduate of Pepperdine University, his duties include live coding practice and aligning with video for review by the coaching staff and players.
Strick also aids in scouting and providing analytical data to the team and staff.
A Westlake Village, California, native Strick has spent time as a coach on the club and high school level, beginning with Bones Volleyball Club in 2013-14. He returned to his high school alma mater, Westlake High School, as an assistant coach for both the varsity and JV teams.
He took over as the junior varsity head coach at Westlake in 2014-15, winning the Marmonte League in his first season.
Prior to his move to Tennessee, Strick joined the Pepperdine men's volleyball staff as a volunteer administrator. With the Waves, he coded practices, prepared game video and assisted the coaching staff with administrative needs.
After four seasons in Malibu, which included a trip to the NCAA semifinals in 2019, Strick joined Rackham Watt's program in Knoxville.
In 2020, he graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Master's of Science in Kinesiology with a specialization in sports psychology and motor behavior. He is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in kinesiology and sports studies as well as three other graduate minors.
During the summer of 2021, Strick traveled with the USA men's volleyball national team to Tokyo for the 2020 Olympics. While with the team, he served as a statistician and scout. Since 2018, he has worked with both the men's and women's USA national teams.
