2006-07: Competed in seven events at the NCAA Championships, earning four All-America certificates in the 200y and 400y free relays and the 200y and 400y medley relays...Also competed in the 100y breast (1:02.75) and 100y free (49.35), and recorded a new career best in the prelims of the 50y free (22.60)...At the SEC meet, placed 11th in the 50y free...Member of the third-place 800y free, fifth-place 200y free, and fourth-place 400y free relay teams...Picked up a win in the 50y free against South Carolina/Kentucky and was runner-up in the 100y free...Swam the first leg of the winning 400y free relay team in the same meet...Came through against Auburn/Stanford with runner-up honors in the 50y free and third in the 100y breast...Against Georgia, won the 50y free and the 400y medley relay.
NATIONAL/INTERNATIONAL: Captured gold and bronze medals at the 2009 World University Games in Belgrade, Serbia, in July... Won gold as a member of the first-place 400m free Relay (3:41.81)...Grabbed a bronze by placing third in the 50y free in a career-best 25.10...Earned a spot on the U.S. team for the WUG by tying for first place in the 50m free in 25.22 at the 2008 U.S. Open...Also set a career-best in the 100m free (56.03) in the preliminaries before placing sixth in the finals at the U.S. Open...Finished 10th, nearly making it to the finals, in the 50m free (25.43) at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials...Also placed 45th in the 100m free (56.33) and 92nd in the 100m breast (1:13.54) at the Trials...Swam for the United States at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil...Placed ninth in the semifinals of the 100m free in 57.14...Helped the USA take gold in the 400m free relay by competing on the preliminaries squad that claimed first and finished in 2:45.76...
