2016-17 - Freshman
- Stroked the 3V4+ to a fourth place finish in the Big 12 Championship with a time of 7:59.919
- Stroked the 2V4+ B to a sixth place finish in the 2V4 C Final at the Clemson Invitational
- At the Big 12 Double Dual, rowed two seat in the 3V8+ that posted two wins with times of 7:28.6 and 7:25.6.
Future career goals: "I hope to be employed at a large company post-graduation. I want to utilize my civil engineering degree and hope to be in a management position."
- Daughter of Stephen and Katherine Shafer, was born on April 26, 1998.
- Graduated with High Honors (4.0+) from Huntley High School.
- She was named as an Illinois State Scholar for her academic achievement.
- In high school she ran track and competed in cheerleading for Ultimate Athletics
- On why she chose Tennessee: "I visited UT my junior year and since stepping on campus, I never stopped thinking about it. I loved the spirit of the campus and I instantly felt comfortable. It felt like home."
- Her hobbies include hiking, running, water skiing, anything outdoors-related, community service, relaxing and eating
