CAREER AWARDS2013 SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll
2013-15 - JUNIOR
DUAL MEET RECAP- Won his first race of the season at UNCW, where he swam a 1:54.80 in the 200-yard butterfly.
- Earned a second-place finish in the 200 Fly (1:52.21)
- Swam a season-best 1:51.18 in a fifth-place result in the 200 Fly against IU and UK
- Won the B final in the 200 Fly at the Nike Cup, clocking in at 1:48.92
- Swam a career best in the 200 IM prelims at Nike Cup, finishing in 1:55.32
2013-14 - SOPHOMORE
DUAL MEET RECAP- Competed in four meets during the fall semester, primarily competing in the butterfly
- Recorded three career bests during the fall semester: 500 freestyle (4:43.07 at the Georgia Tech Invite), 100 backstroke (56.69 at UNC Wilmington) and the 200 IM (1:58.44 against Indiana and Kentucky).
- Won the 200 butterfly to start the year at UNC Wilmington
- Had a career day against Florida, recording career bests in the 100 and 200 butterfly with times of 51.10 and 1:48.49.
2012-13 - FRESHMAN
AWARDS2013 SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll DUAL MEET RECAP
- Competed in four meets during the fall season and one during the spring
- Earned four career bests at UT Invite, 100 free (51.38), 200 free (1:49.78), 200 IM (2:00.95), and 400 IM (4:14.40)
- Primarily competed in the butterfly events, clocking a career best 52.48 in the 100 fly at Virginia Tech, good for his first career collegiate race victory
- Swam a career-best in the 200 fly against Ohio State (1:51.73).
PRIOR TO TENNESSEE
- Swam for UEA City of Norwich Swimming Club
- Finished 36th in the 200-meter butterfly (2:04.67) in the 2012 British Olympic Trials.
