DUAL MEET RECAP
- Competed in two meets during the fall semester, winning the 100 backstroke twice
- Recorded a fall-best time of 55.48 in the 100 backstroke on the road at Louisville
- Earned the bronze medal in the 400 medley relay with teammates Lindsay Gendron, Molly Hannis and Faith Johnson, finishing at 3:30.19, an NCAA A-cut time
- Swimming in her third straight final, Solernou took eighth in the A final of the 100 backstroke (52.77), just .15 seconds off her career high
- Earned her first silver medal in the 200 Medley Relay, swimming with Harper Bruens, Johnson and Hannis
- Swimming the backstroke leg once again, helped the Lady Vols to a silver medal in the 200 medley relay.
- Also part of the sixth place in the 400 medley relay.
- Swam the 100 backstroke in 52.67

DUAL MEET RECAP
- Assumed graduate Jenny Connolly[apos]s backstroke spot on the Lady Vols[apos] medley teams while enjoying her best season in individual events as well
- Took first in the 100 back in three meets: Ohio State (55.17), Virginia Tech (55.01) and Georgia (54.55)
- At the Tennessee Invitational, improved career best times in 50 free (23.41), 100 free (53.70), 200 back (156.32), and 100 fly (59.94)
- Swam the backstroke leg of the SEC record-setting and championship 200 medley relay team
- Helped the 400 medley relay team place third
- Individually, Placed sixth in 100 back (52.63) and 20th in 200 back (1:56.32b)
- Part of two of the Lady Vols[apos] first three relay national championships
- She swam the leadoff backstroke leg of the 200 and 400 medley relays
- In addition to the trophies for winning the two relays, she also earned two All-America honors for her efforts
- Individually, took 25th in the 100 backstroke (53.27) and 46th in 200 backstroke (1:57.70).
2011-12 - SOPHOMORE
SEASON RECAP - Helped Tennessee qualify for the championship final in the 400y medley relay at the NCAA Championships, swimming the lead leg in the event prelims
- The 400y MR notched fourth in prelims after a time of 3:31.24
- Individually at the national meet, competed in the both back events, highlighted by finishing 20th in the 200y back after a time of 1:55.22
- Finished one spot behind in the 100y back at NCAAs, as her clocking of 53.11 seconds placed her 21st
- Ranks second on the Lady Vol performers list in the 100y back after placing third in the event at the SEC Championships with a time of 52.72 seconds
- Won the consolation final of the 200y back at the league meet after a readout of 1:55.25
- Both her 100y and 200y back times are `B[apos] cuts
- Claimed runner-up in the 100y back, third in the 200y medley relay and fourth in the 200y back against Florida
- Placed third in the 200y back at Georgia
- Won the 100y back versus South Carolina and the 200y back in the Kentucky, Indiana double dual meet
- Notched second in the 200y back versus UNC-Wilmington
- Had a pair of third-place finishes in the 100y back and 200y back at Louisville.
2010-11 - FRESHMAN
AWARDS2011 SEC All-Freshman Team SEASON RECAP
- Swam career-best times in three events at the SEC Championships, including making the `A[apos] final in both the 100y and 200y backs
- Notched fourth in the 200y back and sixth in the 100y event along with competing in the 50y free at the conference meet
- Ranks second on the UT performers in both back events
- Competed in both back events at the NCAA Championships, grabbing 30th in the 200y back and 35th in the 100y event
- Won the 100y back in the opening dual meet against Arkansas
- Placed in the top four in four events versus Louisville, including swimming a leg of the victorious 400y free relay
- Notched runner-up in the 100y back against Virginia, Kentucky and Florida
- Registered top-10 finishes in six events at the Tennessee Invitational
- Against Georgia, placed in the top five in three events
- Finished first in a pair of relays at the Cumberlands
- Named to the SEC All-Freshmen Team.
PRIOR TO TENNESSEE
- Broke 13 Connecticut records during her career as a star for Sacred Heart High School and the YMCA Sea Dogs
- Dominated the 2009 YMCA Long Course national meet by sweeping the 50m back, 100m back and 200m back events
- Named by SwimmingWorld Magazine as a five-star recruit
- Won seven YMCA national championships at the club level
- Has been a NISCA high school All-American every year in the 100y back
- Capped her high school career by lowering her own Connecticut State Open record in the 100y back (55.44), while winning her third title in the event.

- Former teammates swimming at the collegiate level include Justine Ress at Indiana and Kim Jerome of Cornell
