Gray DeBord enters his third season as a student manager with Tennessee men’s tennis in the fall of 2019. The head manager for the program, DeBord is a sophomore studying biological sciences at the University of Tennessee.
A native of Knoxville, DeBord graduated from West High School in May of 2017. He was a four-year letterwinner for the Rebels’ tennis squad from 2013-17, serving as captain his senior season. DeBord competed in USTA Tournaments in high school, achieving rankings as high as No. 7 in Tennessee and No. 145 in the South region.
DeBord has completed summer internships with former Knox County mayor Tim Burchett and Congressman John J. Duncan, Jr. He recently worked as a tennis instructor at Fox Den Country Club over the summer of 2018.
