Allie Magrino transitioned to the role of Assistant Director of Allan Jones Aquatic Center in November of 2021.
A native of Orlando, Florida, Magrino previously spent close to three years as the director of operations for Tennessee's men's and women's tennis programs', coordinating budgets, travel and meals.
Prior to her role with UT's tennis programs, she served as a manager for Tennessee's swimming and diving program. In that capacity, she oversaw filming for each swim meet, assisted with equipment requests and helped with scheduling.
Prior to her arrival in Knoxville, Magrino was a decorated collegiate swimmer at the University of Idaho from 2014-18. The Vandals' top backstroker, she earned All-Western Athletic Conference honors as well as Academic All-Conference recognition all four years.
As a prep athlete, Magrino was a high school All-American in both swimming and water polo at Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, Florida. She was a two-time state champion swimmer (2010 and 2012), set school records in four events over her four years and was named Dr. Phillips' Most Outstanding Female Athlete of the Year as a senior.
Magrino earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology, with a minor in Communication, from Idaho in 2018. She later completed her master's degree in Recreation and Sport Management from Tennessee in 2020.
