- Labeled a three-star recruit by both 247Sports and On3, the former of which tabbed him the No. 26 point guard in the class and the No. 12 player in Virginia.
- Considered the No. 255 prospect in the On3 Consensus rankings, good for No. 35 among point guards and No. 13 in Virginia.
- McDonald’s All-American game nominee and four-team VHSL First Team All-State selection.
- Three-time team captain compiled a 104-6 record and three VHSL state championships across his four-year varsity career, amassing over 2,200 points and 600 assists.

- Parents are Donte Henderson, a retired United States Army veteran, and Melissa Henderson, a senior manager at Verizon.
- Both parents played basketball at Christopher Newport University, a Division III school in Virginia.
- Has two older brothers, Tyler and Tyson, and a younger sister, Taylor.
- Tyler played basketball at Anderson University, a Division II school in South Carolina, before transferring to Christopher Newport, where he won the national title in 2022-23.
- Tyson currently plays at Christopher Newport, with the two overlapping as teammates in 2023-24.
- Majoring in business management.
- Favorite athlete is Steph Curry because of his ability to make shots.
- Best sports memory is winning a second straight VHSL Class 1 state championship during his junior year at Lancaster High School.
- Listens to music and talks to his family before every game.
- Wears No. 24 because his father and Kobe Bryant both did so.
