2017-18 - SENIOR

- He was Division I’s 11th-leading active career scorer at the end of his final season, having totaled 2,128 points.
- Finished second on the team in assists with 97, which broke his previous single-season record of 84.
- For the first time in his collegiate career, he had more assists (97) than made field goals (59) in a season.
- Posted nine points and 10 assists in the win vs. Mercer (11/19/17), becoming the first Vol with multiple games of 10+ assists in a single season since 1993-94 (LaMarcus Golden; 12 vs. UT-Martin (11/26/93), 14 at South Carolina (1/19/94)

- His career shooting percentage stood at .366, including a .335 mark from 3-point range and an .822 mark at the charity stripe.
- Averaged more than 30 minutes in each of his collegiate seasons, logging more than 3,000 total minutes (33.9 mpg) over his career.
- Led the Bison in scoring in each of his three full seasons with the program and totaled 14 30-point games.
- He failed to score in double figures only six times in 90 games played.
- Holds several school season, game and career records, including 3-pointers attempted in a season (241, 2015-16), field goals attempted in a season (582, 2015-16), free throws attempted and made in a season (280-331, 2015-16) and 3-pointers made in a career (239).
2016-17 - MEDICAL REDSHIRT (HOWARD UNIVERSITY)

- Received his degree in Sociology from Howard University in May and enrolled at Tennessee as a graduate transfer in June.
- Was granted a medical redshirt after appearing in only two games as he coped with an ankle injury that ultimately required surgery in March.
- After missing the first 14 games of the season with what had been diagnosed as a high ankle sprain, Daniel played two games in January before being told he had chipped a bone in his left ankle, effectively ending his season.
- In his brief action in 2016-17, Daniel--the preseason MEAC Player of the Year (Athlon, Sporting News)--scored a game-high 24 points against Florida A&M (1/4/17) before adding 10 points at Columbia (1/7/17); those outings pushed his career scoring total to 1,933 points--the most in Howard's basketball history and just 342 shy of the MEAC's all-time scoring record.
2015-16 - JUNIOR (HOWARD UNIVERSITY)
- One of the best-kept secrets in college basketball during the 2015-16 season, Daniel led the country in scoring at 27.1 points per game, ultimately earning Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Player of the Year honors and honorable mention All-America distinction.
- His memorable junior season featured nine games of 30 or more points, including a career-best 39 in a win over William & Mary (11/28/15).
- Shot .388 from the field, including .332 from beyond the arc.
- Attempted 241 total 3-pointers on the year--more than eight per game.
- Also got himself to the free-throw line with astounding frequency, attempting a nation-leading 331 free throws his junior season--good for 11 attempts per game; he converted those freebies at an .846 clip.
2014-15 - SOPHOMORE (HOWARD UNIVERSITY)

- Started all 30 of Howard's games, averaging 32.4 minutes per contest.
- Averaged a team-high 16.7 points per game as a sophomore.
- The MEAC steals leader (1.8 spg) and the team leader in assists (2.7 apg), Daniel was named to the All-MEAC second team and was tabbed as a third-team Box To Row All-American.
- Became the first men's basketball player in Howard history to score more than 1,000 points in each of his first two seasons.
2013-14 - FRESHMAN (HOWARD UNIVERSITY)

- Appeared in 28 games, making 26 starts and averaging 31.8 minutes per contest.
- Averaged a team- and MEAC-high 21.0 points per game as a true freshman and also shot .394 from 3-point range to lead all Division I freshmen.
- Posted four 30-point performances, including a season-high 38 against Hampton (2/22/14).
- Was named MEAC Rookie of the Year, first-team MEAC All-Rookie and third-team All-MEAC; also was named a third-team Box To Row All-American.
HIGH SCHOOL
- Graduated from Phoebus High School in Hampton, Virginia, where he was named the state's Tri-State Player of the Year as a senior in 2012-13.

- Daniel is the fifth incoming graduate transfer in program history, following forward John Fields (2010-11), guard Antonio Barton (2013-14), guard Ian Chiles (2014-15) and forward Lew Evans (2016-17).
