- Earned his master's degree in Agricultural Leadership, Education & Communication on May 20
- His 39th career home run—a solo bomb in the fifth inning against Notre Dame in game two of the Knoxville Super Regional (6/11)—moved him out of a tie with the legendary Todd Helton and made him Tennessee's all-time home runs leader (however, teammate Luc Lipcius tied Russell's record with his 39th career homer later that same inning).
- Contributed to the Vols' six-run ninth inning in the comeback win over Georgia Tech with an RBI single through the left side (6/5)
- Threw out two baserunners during the SEC Tournament, including one in the championship game against Florida (5/29)
- Added to Tennessee's five-run third inning in the SEC Tournament opener against Vanderbilt (5/26) with an RBI double
- Batted .500 with seven total hits during Tennessee's series sweep at Mississippi State (5/19-5/21)—notching four doubles and one home run
- Tied the program record for career home runs with a fifth-inning blast to left center, matching VFL Todd Helton's total of 38 for his career in the series finale at Mississippi State (5/21)
- Backed up his superb first game with another multi-hit outing against Mississippi State (5/20), going 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored

2019 - SOPHOMORE
