2015 - FRESHMAN
•Plunkett appeared in 18 games for the Vols in 2015, hitting .172 with a homer, four runs scored and six RBI. •Recorded an RBI while hitting 1-for-1 at Vanderbilt on March 28.
•Scored once against Florida, going 1-for-3 and batting .200 (March 14).
•Went 2-for-3 with his first collegiate homer, two runs scored and four RBI during a 12-10 victory at UC Irvine (Feb. 28). •Made two pinch-hit appearances for the Vols during the season opening series at Florida International (Feb. 13-15).
2014 - REDSHIRT SEASON
• Played 36 games for the Riverhead Tomcats of the Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League, hitting at a .282 clip with two homers and 16 RBI. His two home runs ranked tied for second-best on the club.• Owned a seven-game hit streak from July 13-24, combining to go 12-for-27 (.444) with six RBI during that span.
HIGH SCHOOL
• Graduated from the Memphis University School, where he was a four-year letterwinner for the Owls.• Ranked as the No. 4 outfielder and the No. 27 overall prospect in the state of Tennessee by Perfect Game.
• Earned Rawlings All-American Southeast Region Honorable Mention accolades as a senior.
• Tabbed a Perfect Game Underclass Honorable Mention All-American as a junior.
• Member of the 2009 state champion football team, and helped lead the Owls' baseball team to regionals in each of the last four years.
• Named to the Memphis Commercial Appeal All-Metro team as a senior and junior.
• Hit .358 with five home runs, 38 RBIs and five stolen bases as a junior.
