CLEMSON, S.C. — The Tennessee track & field program kicks off the 2026 competition calendar on Saturday, sending a group of sprinters, hurdlers, pole vaulters and throwers to Clemson, South Carolina, for the Clemson Invitational.
Action begins at 10 a.m. from the Clemson Indoor Track & Field Complex, with three Vols each set to compete in the men's pole vault and men's shot put. The meet runs throughout the day and will conclude at approximately 4:45 p.m. with the men's 4x400-meter relay.
Forty-five Tennessee athletes are entered for competition in 16 events at the Clemson Invitational. The final meet schedule can be viewed HERE. Running events will be streamed online via ACC Network Extra, and live results will be provided by Flash Results.
BIG ORANGE DEBUTS: Thirteen athletes are expected to make their first official appearances for Tennessee track & field on Saturday, including six true freshmen and seven transfers.
RANKINGS UPDATE: As of Jan. 9, the Vols and Lady Vols have totaled 12 marks that rank top 16 on the NCAA Division I national qualifying list this season, including the No. 1 performances in the country in the women's 60-meter dash and 4x400-meter relay.
