#16 Lady Vols Set to Start Dual Season with Wake Forest

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee women's tennis team is slated to begin it's 2026 dual season Saturday, as it hosts the Wake Forest Demon Deacons at the Goodfriend Tennis Center in Knoxville. First serve is slated for 11 a.m. ET.
All University of Tennessee women's tennis events are free to attend, and all seating is general admission. Fans that attend Saturday's match can enter to win a Tennessee-themed tennis racquet by scanning a QR code at the Fan HQ Table. The winner will be announced following the doubles point

The Lady Vols have won each of their last nine dual season-openers, dating back to a 6-1 win over Air Force on January 21, 2017, Tennessee head coach Alison Ojeda's first match at the helm.
The No. 16 Lady Vols currently boast five ranked entries, including three of the nation's top-36 doubles pairings. Senior Leyla Britez Risso leads the way for Tennessee in both the singles and doubles rankings, tabbed as the No. 26 singles player in the country, and the No. 15 doubles duo alongside Catherine Aulia.
