Track Central: Bryan Clay Invitational / Tom Jones Memorial

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee track & field program will compete coast-to-coast on the outdoor circuit this week, sending a group of distance runners to Azusa, California, for the Bryan Clay Invitational while UT's sprinters, hurdlers, jumpers, throwers and pole vaulters will travel to Gainesville, Florida, for the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational.
The Bryan Clay Invitational runs Wednesday through Friday at Azusa Pacific University, and UT kicks off the meet Wednesday night with three steeplechasers set to compete. Thursday's meet program features the men's and women's 800-meter and 5,000-meter, and the Big Orange contingent will round out the trip to California on Friday with four athletes running the 1,500-meter.
In Gainesville, action begins Friday at 2 p.m. with the women's long jump and concludes Saturday at 6:40 p.m. with the men's 4x400-meter relay.
FOLLOW LIVE: The Bryan Clay Invitational will be streamed all three days via FloTrack, and live results will be provided by Finished Results. The Tom Jones Memorial Invitational will stream on SEC Network+, and live results will be provided by PrimeTime Timing.
RANKINGS UPDATE: In the latest installment of the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) national track & field rating index, the Vols checked in at No. 5 in the nation while the Lady Vols were slotted 30th.
Additionally, Tennessee athletes have set seven marks that currently rank top-10 on the NCAA Division I list for the 2025 outdoor season.
