A graduate pitcher, Gottshall spent the past two seasons on Rocky Top after transferring from Bowling Green. The right-hander graduated from Tennessee with a Master's of Science in education with a concentration in special education.
On the field, Gottshall was named an NFCA First Team All-American after posting a 20-5 record with a 1.37 ERA, 164 strikeouts, three saves and a .180 batting average against.
