Race Central: Big Ten Invitational

SARASOTA, Fla. – The 15th-ranked Tennessee rowing team is geared up for the Big Ten Invitational in Sarasota, Florida this weekend. Competition is slated for Friday and Saturday at Nathan Benderson Park.
The regatta is widely regarded as one of the premier cross-conference rowing events in the country.
Big Ten teams participating in Sarasota for the event include Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Ohio State, Rutgers and Wisconsin. Additional invitees in action are Alabama, Brown, Clemson, Duke, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, SMU, Tennessee, UCF and UCLA.
Tennessee's first race is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. ET Friday morning, with its 2V4 crew set to commence competition. Its first action in Friday's afternoon session is set to begin at 2:35 p.m. All of Tennessee's races Saturday will be completed before noon, beginning at 8:40 a.m.
Spectator parking is available at 5851 Nathan Benderson Circle, Sarasota FL 34235. Parking is $10 per day and cash is the only payment method accepted. There is no additional park admission fee other than parking.
