JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Thirty-one Tennessee track & field athletes have made the trip to Jacksonville, Florida, to begin NCAA postseason action at the East Preliminary Rounds this week. The four-day regional competition is set for Wednesday, May 24, through Saturday, May 27, at the University of North Florida's Hodges Stadium.

The Big Orange will have 41 entries at the meet, competing in 27 events over the course of the competition. The top-12 finishers in each event will advance to the NCAA National Championships, set for June 7-10 at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin, Texas.

Streaming coverage will begin each day with running events on the track, starting at 6 p.m. ET Wednesday and Thursday and 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Live results will be provided throughout the meet by Flash Results Inc.

RANKED VOLS: In the latest installment of the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Track & Field Rating Index, the men of Tennessee checked in at No. 8 while the Lady Vols were slotted No. 13. UT is one of 10 schools in the country to have both squads rated inside the top 15 nationally.

UP NEXT: The top-12 finishers in each event at the NCAA East Prelims will advance to the NCAA Division I National Championships, which will be held June 7-10 at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin, Texas.
