Volleyball Preview: No. 21 Western Kentucky

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee volleyball is back in action Tuesday as it concludes its four-match homestand with a visit from No. 21 Western Kentucky. The first serve is slated for 6 p.m. ET at Thompson-Boling Arena.
For fans planning to attend, note that Tennessee's clear-bag policy will be in effect again this season.
TICKETING PROCEDURE
Starting this fall, tickets to all Tennessee Athletics events will be digital and can be accessed through a mobile device to improve security and reduce the risk of ticket fraud as well as make the process more convenient for fans.
Fans will gain admission into all venues via a unique QR code which will be scanned directly from a mobile device. For quick and easy entry into Tennessee Athletics venues, fans are encouraged to download the Tennessee Athletics app from the App Store (iPhone) and Google Play (Android).
Digital tickets can be managed via a mobile device or desktop web browser, but a mobile device is required for venue access on matchdays.
Your mobile device is the ticket on gameday. All valid digital tickets will display a moving barcode or a hold near reader (tap-and-go) icon. PLEASE NOTE: SCREENSHOTS OF TICKETS WILL NOT SCAN AT THE GATE AND WILL NOT ALLOW ENTRY!

LACE-UP 4 PEDIATRIC CANCER MATCH

SEC HONORS
On Monday, seniors Morgahn Fingall and Natalie Hayward were named SEC Player of the Week and SEC Setter of the Week following their stellar performances during the Rocky Top Classic.
Fingall led the charge in attack as she hit .488 with 47 kills and just five errors over nine sets of action. The right-side attacker averaged 5.22 kills per set and 6.61 points per set this weekend. Against Norfolk State, she was particularly effective, scoring 14 kills – committing zero errors – and notching a career-high five service aces. On defense, she finished the weekend with 17 digs and 12 total blocks.
Keeping the offense in rhythm, Hayward's sets helped UT's attackers hit .371 as a team on the weekend. Against New Hampshire UT hit .367, versus Norfolk State it hit .409 and in the final match of the weekend, Tennessee hit .343 facing The Citadel. Over three matches, Hayward averaged 11.89 assists per set, 2.33 digs per set and put down 1.11 kills per set.
SWEEPS-VILLE
After sweeping their three opponents in the Rocky Top Classic, the Lady Vols have now earned four consecutive victories by way of the sweep. Including last season, 18 of UT's last 26 wins have been sweeps.

Key Player/Stat: Western Kentucky enters Tuesday's meeting ranked 21st in the latest AVCA Coaches Poll. The Hilltoppers have been on a roll to begin the season as they have won 27 of 34 sets played this year. Defensively, WKU is holding opponents to a .147 hitting percentage.
