Track Central: SEC Outdoor Championships

OXFORD, Miss. – Outdoor postseason action begins Thursday for the Tennessee track & field team as 56 student-athletes traveled to Oxford, Mississippi, for the 2022 SEC Outdoor Championships. The league meet is scheduled for Thursday through Saturday, May 12-14 at the Ole Miss Track & Field Complex.
MEET SCHEDULE
UT begins the championship competition Thursday at 1 p.m. ET as Chandler Hayden opens in the women's hammer throw. The multi-events start at 3 p.m. with the men's decathlon 100-meter dash and at 3:20 p.m. with the women's heptathlon 100m hurdles.
Friday's events begin with the men's decathlon 110-meter hurdles, while competition for UT opens on Saturday with the women's triple jump at 3:30 p.m.
BROADCAST INFO
Coverage of the SEC Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be streamed on SEC Network+ throughout the weekend. The final evening session on Saturday will be broadcast on linear television on SEC Network.
TV talent for the championships includes Dwight Stones (play-by-play), Dan O'Brien (analyst), Larra Overton (analyst) and John Anderson (field).
