Track Central: War Eagle Invitational

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Coming off the Tennessee Relays, the Vols and Lady Vols track & field squads head south to Auburn, Alabama, for the War Eagle Invitational on April 15-16 at Hutsell-Rosen Track.

MEET SCHEDULE
Tennessee opens the meet Friday at 5 p.m. ET with competition in the men's long jump and wraps up the first day with the men's 5,000-meter invitational. On Saturday, the women's pole vault gets UT started at noon, with action at the War Eagle Invitational ending at 6:15 p.m.
WHO'S COMPETING
The Vols are sending 22 men, while the Lady Vols are sending 21 women to Auburn this weekend. For the men, Olympian Carey McLeod and Indoor Long Jump National Champion Wayne Pinnock open up their outdoor campaigns after being forced to scratch from the Tennessee Relays due to weather.
On the women's side, Charisma Taylor will make her Lady Vol outdoor debut in the women's 200m dash and triple jump.

The Vols and Lady Vols head back to Alabama next weekend as they visit Tuscaloosa for the Crimson Tide Invite on April 22-23.
