Race Central: Lady Vols at Alabama

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – For the third weekend in a row, the 17th-ranked Tennessee Lady Vols are in action, as the team will take on No. 18 Alabama in a dual on the Black Warrior River.

Competition begins at 10 a.m. ET. Tennessee will field six boats this weekend, racing four eights and two fours. Here are the start times for each race:

10 a.m. ET – First Varsity 8+
10:15 a.m. ET – Second Varsity 8+
10:30 a.m. ET – First Varsity 4+
10:45 a.m. ET – Second/Third Varsity 4+
11 a.m. ET – Third Varsity 8+
11:15 a.m. ET – Fourth/Fifth Varsity 8+

The Lady Vol varsity eight earned its second-straight Big 12 Boat of the Week honors on Wednesday after the lineup finished 2-0 with a top-10 victory during the Virginia Invitational. With a win over No. 6 Virginia followed by a 26-second margin of victory against North Carolina, Tennessee's varsity eight boasts three wins and two second-place finishes through two weeks of the season.
