EARLYSVILLE, Va. – Tennessee rowing returns to action Saturday with a four-team regatta at the Virginia Invitational.
The 20th-ranked Lady Vols will join No. 6 Virginia, UCF and North Carolina on the Rivanna Reservoir with competition beginning at 8:30 a.m. ET and a second session of races taking place in the afternoon. Tennessee will field five boats this weekend, racing three eights and two fours.
UT is coming off a solid weekend in the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invite. The Lady Vol 1V8 boat earned Big 12 Boat of the Week honors after a win and a pair of second-place finishes. With a 6:14.579 mark in its second race, the Tennessee 1V8 checked in as the third-fastest boat during the regatta.
