KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Fresh off a successful indoor campaign, Tennessee track & field opens up the outdoor season Thursday-Saturday, March 24-26 at the Raleigh Relays.
Hosted by NC State, the three-day meet will feature athletes from approximately 150 teams at the Dail Track/Soccer Complex.
FOLLOW LIVE
All three days of the meet will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra beginning Thursday at 7 p.m. ET. Live results will be provided by Flash Results throughout the weekend.
MEET SCHEDULE
Tennessee opens the meet Thursday at 10 a.m. ET with the women's pole vault, featuring Sara Borton, Hannah Jefcoat, Natalie Lark and Sarah Schmitt. UT's action on Thursday concludes with the men's 5,000 meter at 6 p.m.
Competition on Friday begins at 9:30 a.m. and on Saturday at 9:45 a.m.
INDOOR RECAP
The men's team capped the 2022 indoor season with a third-place finish at the NCAA meet, their best placement since also finishing third in 2016. Freshman Wayne Pinnock captured the Vols first-ever long jump national title, while fellow jumper Carey McLeod placed second in the event and ninth in the triple jump.
The Lady Vols earned a 16th-place finish at NCAAs, with Charisma Taylor and Latavia Maines placing third in the women's triple jump and shot put, respectively.
UPCOMING SEASON
After the Raleigh Relays, UT will compete in six more regular season meets from April 1 through May 7. Two of those six meets will be at home – the Tennessee Relays April 7-9 and the Tennessee Challenge on May 7.
The postseason begins May 12-14 with the SEC Outdoor Championships and is followed by the NCAA East Prelims May 25-28. The season concludes in Eugene, Oregon, with the NCAA Outdoor Championships June 8-11.

The Pepsi Florida Relays are on deck for Tennessee as the Vols and Lady Vols head to Gainesville, Florida, for the two-day meet April 1-2.
