Track Central: Bob Pollock Meet

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee track & field will send 51 student-athletes to Clemson, South Carolina, this weekend for the Bob Pollock Meet. The two-day event runs Friday and Saturday, January 28-29 at the Clemson Indoor Track & Field Complex.
MEET INFO
UT opens the meet Friday at 1:10 p.m. ET with the women's 60-meter dash preliminaries. The men's 4x400m relay beginning at 3:45 p.m. Saturday wraps up the weekend for Tennessee.
The meet will be available for streaming on ACCNX and live results will be provided by AdkinsTrak Timing Associates throughout the weekend.
LAST TIME OUT
The Vols and Lady Vols competed at Virginia Tech last weekend in the Hokie Invitational, winning three event titles and setting 47 combined personal bests.
UT's wins came courtesy of Alex Kay in the men's 600-meter, Anthony Riley in men's long jump and Latavia Maines in women's shot put.
Charisma Taylor placed second overall but was the top collegiate finisher in the women's long jump last weekend. She leaped 6.31m (20-8.5) and moved from sixth to fourth on the Tennessee indoor long jump top-10 list.
TWO OLYMPIANS IN ACTION
2020 Tokyo Olympians Joella Lloyd and Carey McLeod will be in action for Tennessee this weekend. Lloyd will run for the second time this season and is slated to compete in the women's 60m and 200m dash.
McLeod is opening up his 2022 season at the Bob Pollock Meet and will compete for the men in the high jump.
