KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee is set to open its 2021 spring season on Saturday, squaring off against UCF in morning races on Lake Pickett in Orlando, Fla. It will mark the first official competition for the Lady Vols since their 2019-20 season was cut short due to the COVID-19 global health crisis.
UT's 1V8 and 2V8 boats will face off against the Knights at 8:30 a.m. The 1V4 and 2V4 will follow at 8:40 a.m.
Tennessee will stay closer to home for its next event, racing in the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invite on March 13-14 in Oak Ridge, Tenn. The event is a 12-team regatta hosted by the University of Louisville.
