Women’s Golf Central: Jim West Challenge

SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Tennessee women's golf team is set to begin its fourth tournament of the season at the Jim West Challenge in Texas, set to run Sunday-Monday, Oct. 17-18.
The tournament field consists of 15 teams, including four teams in the Golfstat top-20. The Tennessee lineup is made up of four golfers this week, with each score serving as a counting score during the two-day event.
ESPN+ will provide live coverage of the tournament. First and second round coverage will begin at noon ET Sunday, with the entirety of round three set to be broadcast Monday, beginning at 9:30 a.m. ET.
The digital-only broadcast will be called by Brant Freeman (play-by-play) and Kaitlyn Sirman (analyst). Coverage will include the entire ninth, 13th, and 18th holes, along with tee shots on the 14th hole.
ESPN+ is a standalone streaming service that requires a subscription separate from your TV provider credentials. It is available to stream through the ESPN App on your connected streaming device and on ESPN.com.
LADY VOLS' LINEUP
Nicole Whiston
Last time out, Whiston completed the 20th tournament of her career, finishing tied for 32nd (+14, 230) at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational.
Hadley Walts
After finishing tied for 38th (+15, 231) at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational, Walts is primed for the 12thtournament of her Tennessee career.
Bailey Davis
Entering her fourth tournament as a Lady Vol, Davis is coming off a T38 (+17, 233) performance at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational.
Vanessa Gilly
Gilly enters the Jim West Challenge with three career top-25 finishes and seven career rounds of par or better.

Kissing Tree Golf Course is a semi-private 18-hole golf course set on the banks of the Texas hill country. The course was designed by local Texan, Gary Stephenson, opened in October 2018 and is managed by the world-renowned golf industry leader, Troon Golf.
