Davis in Top 10 as Lady Vols Complete Two Rounds at Jim West Challenge

SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Tennessee women's golf team completed the first two rounds of the Jim West Challenge Sunday, with freshman Bailey Davis currently situated in the top 10 and the Lady Vols in 15th with one round to go.
Davis' round of 69 (-3) marked her collegiate career-best and included five birdies. In round two, Davis logged another under-par round, shooting a 1-under, 71. She stands tied for ninth (-4) through 36 holes.
Sophomore Vanessa Gilly carded an even-par (72) first round and made a trifecta of birdies early in round two, before finishing the round at 1-over, 73. She is tied for 31st (+1) entering the final 18 holes.
Lady Vol senior Hadley Walts is tied for 71st (+11) following Sunday's action. Junior Nicole Whiston shot 3-over in round one and is in 74th place at 12-over ahead of the third round.
