KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Following a late schedule change, the 13th-ranked Tennessee men's tennis team dominated ETSU, 7-0, on Tuesday at the Goodfriend Tennis Center.
The win was UT's (3-0) 26th consecutive win over ETSU (0-1).
The Vols opened the scoring in doubles with the tandem of freshman Johannus Monday and junior Martim Prata rolling to a 6-2 victory on court one and the senior duo of Andrew Rogers and Mark Wallner claiming a 6-3 win at No. 3 to give UT the early 1-0 advantage.
In singles, UT continued to dominate, as graduate student Giles Hussey took down Dimitri Badra, 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3 to increase the UT lead to 2-0. The win improved Hussey to 3-0 in dual action and 13-1 on the year.
Graduate student Luca Wiedenmann quickly made things 3-0 as he dominated Dylan Bednarczyk, 6-0, 6-0. The victory was Wiedenmann's 13th consecutive of the year and his 96th of his career, leaving him just four victories shy of becoming the 10th ever Vol to reach 100 career singles wins.
With UT on the cusp of clinching, Monday knocked off Yusuf Khamis, 6-4, 6-1 for his 10th straight singles win to give the Vols their third win of the dual season.
Victories from Prata, Wallner and graduate student Joel Gamerov finished off Tennessee's second consecutive shutout.
THE TOP OF THE LINEUP IS ROLLING
Through three matches, Johannus Monday and Martim Prata—who have been the No. 1 doubles pair and on courts one and two in each match—are each 3-0 in both singles and doubles and have yet to concede a set in dual play.

Tennessee gets back on court this weekend when it travels to Raleigh, North Carolina for ITA Kickoff Weekend. The Vols will take on conference foe Ole Miss on Friday at 2 p.m. ET and either Alabama or NC State on Saturday at 10 a.m. or 2 p.m.
