RIO GRANDE, Puerto Rico – The No. 23 Tennessee men's golf team completed its first tournament of the spring Tuesday, finishing tied for 13th place at the 28th annual Puerto Rico Classic.
The Vols shot 11-over 299 during the tournament's third round, finishing the three-day event with an 18-over total.
"It would be an understatement to say it was not our best stuff this week in Puerto Rico, but I have no doubt that it will end up being a positive experience for this program and we will be much better because of it," head coach Brennan Webb said.
