UT Signee Taylor Huff Named High School National Player of the Year

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Incoming Tennessee soccer signee Taylor Huff was named National Player of the Year by the United Soccer Coaches, as the association announced its award winners and All-Americans for the 2020 fall high school season on Wednesday.
Named Ms. Soccer by the Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association, Huff finished her career for Madison Comprehensive High School as a four-time All-American after leading the Lady Rams to an unbeaten season and a Division II state championship in 2020. The Lucas, Ohio, native finished her senior campaign with 34 goals and 27 assists, giving her 133 career goals and an OHSAA state-record 93 career assists.
Tennessee signee Jenna Chatterton was also recognized as an All-American by the United Coaches for the second time in her career. The midfielder out of Noblesville, Indiana, led her high school squad to an unbeaten 17-0-1 season as a senior and was recently named the 2020 Indiana Girls Player of the Year by the Indiana Soccer Coaches Association.
Huff and Chatterton are part of an eight-member signing class that was announced last month by Tennessee head coach Brian Pensky. The group was rated as a top-20 class in the country by TopDrawerSoccer.com, ranking 17th overall and second among programs from the Southeastern Conference.
