KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee soccer program's conference road swing continues Thursday night as the Vols visit Auburn for the first time since 2016. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET at the Auburn Soccer Complex.

Thursday's match will be broadcasted on SEC Network+, available online and through the ESPN app. Live stats will also be provided via SIDEARM Stats, and fans can follow @Vol_Soccer on Twitter for live match updates.
Â
LAST TIME OUT: The Vols (6-2-1, 0-1 SEC) fell 1-0 in double overtime at No. 17 Vanderbilt Sunday to open SEC play, surrendering the golden goal to the Commodores with 46 seconds remaining in the second overtime period. Tennessee saw more quality chances with a 5-2 edge in shots on goal, but were unable to find the back of the net - being shut out for just the second time this season.
Â
BOUNCE BACK: Since 2016, head coach Brian Pensky's squads have shown incredible resolve following a loss. Over the past three years, Tennessee owns a 13-3-1 (.794) record coming off a loss and has not suffered back-to-back losses since October of 2017.
Â
ROLLING IN DEPTH: Through nine matches this season, Tennessee has seen 10 different players score a goal. That mark ties with Arkansas and Alabama for second in the SEC behind South Carolina (11).
Â
Additionally, UT ranks t-2nd in the league with five players that have scored multiple goals this season, trailing only Arkansas (6).
Â
STAY CLASSY, COUSINS: Earlier this week, UT midfielder Katie Cousins was selected as one of 30 NCAA Division I women's soccer players to be nominated for the 2019 Senior CLASS Award. To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be classified as a senior and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence: community, classroom, character and competition.
Â
SERIES HISTORY: Tennessee holds an 11-9-4 (.542) all-time series lead over Auburn. In the last meeting between the two programs, UT drew with Auburn at home 1-1 on September 21, 2017. Meghan Flynn scored Tennessee's lone goal off an assist from Bunny Shaw in Tennessee's fourth tie with the Tigers since 2012.
Â
SCOUTING AUBURN: The Tigers (4-3-2, 1-0 SEC) enter Thursday's match coming off a 0-0 tie at Old Dominion. Auburn opened SEC play against Kentucky last Thursday, topping the Wildcats 2-1 in double overtime.
Â
27-year coaching veteran Karen Hoppa has led Auburn to five-straight NCAA tournament appearances and 16 double-digit win seasons. The Tigers are led statistically by senior midfielder Bri Folds with five goals and two assists this season, followed by Sarah Houchin and Sydney Richards with three scores apiece.
Â
UP NEXT: Tennessee returns to Regal Soccer Stadium Sunday afternoon for its conference home opener against the Alabama Crimson Tide. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. as the Vols go for their 11th-consecutive home win.
