Five Vols have Perfect Saturday

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Eleven members of the Tennessee men's tennis team were in action on Saturday, with five players going undefeated over multiple matches and the team going 18-8 overall.
PRINCETON FARNSWORTH-IVY PLUS
Giles Hussey went 2-0 on the day up in Princeton with wins over Penn State's Christos Antonopoulos, 7-6, 6-3, and Stephen Madonia from Miami, 6-1, 6-2. He'll face Payam Ahmadi from Indiana in singles play on Sunday.
Senior Scott Jones went 1-1, winning his match against Edoardo Graziani of Penn, 6-2, 2-1, after Graziani retired. He dropped his second match, 3-6, 4-6, to Columbia's Jack Lin. Freshman Finn Stodder went 1-1 as well with a, 6-1, 6-2, win over Juan Jose Bianchi of SMU and a, 3-6, 6-7, defeat to Texas' Nevin Arimilli.
Jordan Chrysostom and Mason Meier round out the Princeton group. Chrysostom fell in both of his matches, 4-6, 6-3, 6-7 (1), to Anthony Pero (Michigan State) and, 3-6, 6-7 (1), to Harsh Parikh (Arizona). Meier dropped his singles matches, 1-6, 3-6, against Luka Vukovic and, 4-6, 4-6, to Ryan Cheng (Yale).
MILWAUKEE CLASSIC
In Milwaukee, Mark Wallner went 3-for-3 while Martim Prata went undefeated with two victories. Wallner partnered with Pat Harper in doubles, defeating Illinois' Montsi/Budic, 8-4. In singles, he knocked off VCU's Daniel Khin, 6-1, 6-1, and Chase Colton, 6-3, 6-3, from Wisconsin.
Prata earned his two victories in singles against Navy's Greg Durham, 6-2, 6-3, and Mississippi State's Nicholas Ocana Lavoie, 6-2, 7-6 (7).
After his doubles win with Wallner, Harper prevailed, 6-3, 6-4, over Leonard Doha before falling, 6-3, 1-6, 3-6, to Mor Bulis (USC). Luca Wiedenmann split his singles matches on Saturday with a win over NC State's Yanni Barkai, 6-3, 6-2. He fell, 6-3, 1-6, 5-7, to Richard Ciamarra (Notre Dame).
GAMECOCK FALL INVITATIONAL
In South Carolina, Adam Walton and Andrew Rogers paired up for two victories in doubles before earning their third wins on the day in singles.
Rogers/Walton took down Soriano/Hannestad, 8-4, before advancing to defeat Peck/Cernoch, 8-6.
In singles, Rogers beat Matthew Thomson from Wake Forest, 6-1, 7-5, earning his first singles victory of the fall.
Walton continues to roll along, defeating Siddhant Banthia (Wake Forest), 6-1, 6-0, in the semifinals of singles. He stands at 10-1 this fall and will face Ewan Moore in Sunday's finals.
