RACE CENTRAL: Clemson Invitational

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee is headed to the Clemson Invitational this weekend to compete against 20 programs from nine different athletic conferences over the course of the two-day regatta.
Racing begins on Friday, and UT will have six boats competing across five events.
In the morning session the Lady Vols will hit the water against Boston, No. RV Washington State, No. 17 Duke, No. 20 Alabama, No. RV UCF and Clemson in the 1V8, 2V8, and 1V4 events. UT will have two boats competing in the 2V4 event. The 2V4A will match up against Tulsa, Navy, Duke and Alabama, while the 2V4B faces off against Clemson A, UCF, No. 10 Virgina, No. 18 Oregon State and No. RV Louisville. UT's 3V8 will square off against Washington State, Duke, Alabama and Louisville.
Tennessee will begin racing at 8:46 a.m. with the 3V8 and wrap up with the 1V8 at 10:30 a.m.
In the afternoon session UT will race San Diego, No. RV Minnesota, Duke, No. 19 Syracuse, UCF and Dartmouth in the 1V8, 2V8, 1V4 and 3V8 events. UT's 2V4A will face Clemson B, UCF, Duke, No. RV UCLA and Tulsa. The 2V4B will match up against No. RV Oklahoma, Virginia, Alabama, Louisville and Clemson A.
UT's 3V8 will again be the first boat in action, hitting the course at at 5:16 p.m., and the 1V8 will conclude the day for the Vols at 7 p.m.

Boats will be seeded for the finals on Saturday based of their performance on Friday. Racing is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
