#20 Tennessee Starts Doubleheader with 5-2 Win over Wichita State

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – A three-set victory by junior Luca Wiedenmann on court 5 clinched the 5-2 victory for the 20th-ranked Tennessee men's tennis team versus Wichita State on Sunday at Barksdale Stadium.
Widenmann rebounded from a first set loss (3-6), to take the final two sets, 6-0, 6-3, to secure the win for the Vols during the first match of a doubleheader.
After taking the doubles point, UT collected straight-set victories from sophomore Adam Walton on court 2, redshirt senior Preston Touliatos on court 4 and freshman Pat Harper on court 6, in addition to Wiedenmann's win.
The Vols improved to 4-1 on the season with the win over the Shockers (2-3).
Tennessee hosts the The Citadel at 4 p.m. today to cap the doubleheader.
