Tennessee completes its road weekend Sunday against the Tigers
AUBURN, Ala. – The Tennessee volleyball team concludes its road weekend against Auburn Sunday afternoon in Auburn Arena.

The Lady Vols (7-6, 1-2 SEC) fell in four sets at the hands of Georgia on Friday night. Freshman right side Morgahn Fingall had a .500 hitting percentage on the night to go along with 10 kills while senior middle blocker Alyssa Andreno matched her season high with seven blocks in the loss.

The Tiger (6-8, 0-3 SEC) fell to in-state rival Alabama Wednesday night in Auburn Arena. Sophomore Tatum Shipes ended the match with a team-high 17 kills in the match. She leads the Tigers in both aces/set (0.30 ace/set) and blocks/set (0.74 blk/set).
The first serve of Sunday's match against Georgia is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. (ET) in Auburn, Alabama. The match can also be seen on SEC Network+.

CAREER MILESTONES
Senior setter Sedona Hansen achieved two career milestones in the loss to Georgia on Friday night. The Wrightwood, California native entered the top five in career assists in the first set when she set up fellow senior Tessa Grubbs to make it 12-18.

Early in the second frame, Hansen became the 16th member of the 1,000 dig club in Tennessee history. She recorded it with her fourth dig in the match. She went on to finish with a team-high 25 assists and 11 digs.

She has helped lead Tennessee to its two highest totals in blocks in the last two matches as the Lady Vols tallied 13.0 against Texas A&M (Sept. 29) and 12.0 at Georgia (Oct. 4).

Over the last two seasons, Tessa Grubbs has averaged 4.19 kills per set though 13 matches this season which ranks second in the SEC.

The Tega Cay, S.C. native has now had double-digit kills in 32 of the last 33 matches including all 13 matches this season. During that stretch, she has 11 matches with 20-plus kills.

Her career 3.71 kills per set ranks third in program history just trailing Tamala Bightman (4.32 K/S) and Ariana Wilson (4.08 K/S). Grubbs is also 19th on the career active leaders list among all of Division I.

DOUBLE-DOUBLE MACHINE
Senior setter Sedona Hansen recorded her seventh double-double of the season with 25 assists and 11 digs Friday night at Georgia. She is second all-time in program history for career double-doubles with 54 just eight matches off the all-time program record.
She currently ranks fifth all-time in career assists with 2,995 while ranking 16th in digs with 1,007.

Hansen is just five assists away from becoming just the fourth player in Tennessee history to have 3,000-plus assists and 1,000-plus digs.
SENIOR CLASS AWARD
For the second consecutive season, Tennessee had a player named as a top 30 candidate for the Senior Class Award. Tessa Grubbs joined 2018 nominee Erica Treiber. Additionally, Grubbs was one of five players from the SEC to be named to the list.

Tennessee is the only SEC school to have players named to the list in the last two seasons and one of just five programs nationally to have that honor.
