Lady Vols Ranked No. 6 in FPN Preseason Rankings

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Fast Pitch News released its preseason top 25 Thursday afternoon, with Tennessee coming in at No. 6.
The Lady Vols are one of 10 SEC schools in the poll, which is the most selections of any conference.
Tennessee will face six of the top 25 teams during the non-conference portion of its schedule – No. 1 Florida State, No. 10 Michigan, No. 12 Oregon, No. 14 Texas, No. 20 James Madison and No. 24 Minnesota.
The Lady Vols begin their season at the Kickin' Chicken Classic in Myrtle Beach, S.C., on Feb. 8 and kick off their home slate with the three-day Tennessee Classic on Feb. 22.
