Tennessee looks for second Southeastern Conference win of the season against the Tigers
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee volleyball team continues Southeastern Conference play this weekend as it hosts to University of Missouri on Friday night in Thompson-Boling Arena.

The Lady Vols hold a record of 6-1 at home with the lone loss coming against No. 20 Kentucky. Tennessee grabbed their first win in conference play in the SEC opener last week when it defeated Auburn on the road behind a season-high .404 hitting percentage against the Tigers.

Senior Erica Treiber is one of just two players to in the nation to rank in the top 12 in career-hitting percentage (T-8th/.351%) blocks/set (12th/1.17). Treiber is hitting .404 this season which ranks second in the SEC and 13th nationally with while having 1.19 blocks per set which ranks second in the conference.

The California native is just 15 assist away from joining the 2,000 assist club. She would be just the ninth player in program history to accomplish this feat. Hansen is coming off her seventh double-double of the season against No. 20 Kentucky with 21 assists and 10 digs.

The Lady Vols continue their five-game home stand with a match-up against Arkansas on Sunday afternoon. Arkansas, who enters the weekend with a SEC record of 0-2, will face Kentucky Friday night in Lexington before traveling to Knoxville on Sunday.

- In search of its third ranked win of the season, Tennessee hung right with the No. 20 Wildcats, limiting them to a season-low .185 hitting percentage in the loss. It was just the fourth time in 44 games Kentucky was held under .200 in hitting percentage.
- Junior Tessa Grubbs and freshman Raquel Perinar led the way for the Lady Vols with double-digit kills. Perinar, who finished with 11 kills, and Grubbs, who tallied a team-high 15 kills, both finished above .300 hitting percentage. Defensively, Tennessee was led by a career-high 25 dig performance from sophomore Madison Coulter.
