Tennessee Wins Eight Races At Big 12 Double Dual

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Tennessee Rowing took first in eight of 10 races at the Big 12 Double Dual in Kansas City, Kan. on Saturday.
In the first session the Vols squared off against Kansas State, winning every race except the 3V8+. Tennessee's biggest wins in the first session came from the 1V8+ and 1V4+ boats which outpaced the Wildcats by just under nine and ten seconds, respectively.
UT also won four of its five races in the afternoon session against Kansas, besting them in every race but the 2V4+. The 1V4+ again had the greatest margin of victory, posting a time of 7:19.723 to the Jayhawks' 7:44.190.
Next Up: Tennessee remains on the road, traveling to the Clemson Invitational April 14-15.
