Tennessee is set for for its first ranked vs. ranked match-up since 2012
COLUMBIA, Mo. – No. 22 University of Tennessee volleyball team will travel to Columbia for a match-up against the No. 23 Missouri Tigers on Wednesday evening in Mizzou Arena.

The Lady Vols (21-5, 12-2 Southeastern Conference) will look to extend their winning streak to eight games when they go to Columbia to square off against No. 23 Missouri. The Tigers enter the match only half a game back from the Lady Vols in the conference standings.

Missouri (22-5, 12-3 SEC) has won their four of five matches entering the Wednesday night clash with Tennessee. The Tigers, who hold a record of 10-0 at home this season, are coming off of a 3-1 win over Georgia Sunday afternoon. Senior middle blocker Alyssa Munlyn leads the SEC with 1.34 blocks per set while fellow sophomore middle blocker Tyanna Omazic ranks sixth at 1.07 blocks per set.

Senior Erica Treiber enters the match with a career hitting percentage of .359 which is tied for the best in program history tying with Beverly Robinson (.359 percent). She currently is the only player in the conference to have a 400-plus hitting percentage.
