Tennessee looks for weekend sweep in Sunday matchup with LSU in Baton Rouge, La.
BATON ROUGE, La. – The University of Tennessee volleyball looks for a weekend sweep when it travels to LSU on Sunday afternoon.

The Lady Vols (15-5, 6-2 Southeastern Conference) are coming off of a five-set thriller against Texas A&M Friday night in College Station, Texas. Backed by 19 kills from junior Tessa Grubbs and a career-high six service aces from senior Erica Treiber, Tennessee grabbed its second road victory and moved to 3-0 in five-set matches in conference action.

LSU (7-12, 2-6 SEC) hosted No. 15 Kentucky Friday night as the Tigers were swept by the Wildcats. The host Tigers are led by sophomore right side Taylor Bannister who leads the Tigers with 4.39 kills per set which ranks fourth in the conference.

After having 19 kills in the win over Texas A&M, junior Tessa Grubbs has now had 14 games this season with double-digit kills in 16 matches played. The Tega City, S.C. native leads the team and ranks sixth in the SEC with 3.69 kills per set entering Sunday's match-up

- The Lady Vols were able to force Texas A&M's offense out of system from the early part of the match. This helped Tennessee limit Aggie outside hitter Hollann Hans, who came into the match leading the conference in points per set (5.23). Hans finished with a season-high 12 hitting errors.
