Tennessee heads to the Lone Star State for a match-up between two of the SEC's top four teams
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – After nine days off, the University of Tennessee volleyball continues a three-game road stretch at Texas A&M on Friday night.

The Lady Vols (14-5, 5-2 Southeastern Conference) and the Aggies (12-7, 5-2 SEC) enter the weekend in a tie for fourth place in the conference standings and just a half game back of Missouri for third. Tennessee will be in search of its second road win in the SEC after opening up the conference slate with a four-set win at Auburn.

Texas A&M enters the match-up winners of its last two matches with a sweep over Auburn on Friday and a five-set win at Georgia on Sunday. Aggie junior outside hitter Hollann Hans leads the conference is points/set at 5.23 while ranking second in aces/set (0.52) and kills/set (4.49).

- The University of Tennessee volleyball team fell to No. 16 Kentucky in four sets in Lexington, Ky. on Oct. 10. This was the second time this season the Lady Vols have gone four sets with the nationally-ranked Wildcats. They are one of just two teams to take a set off of Kentucky in SEC play.
- Callie Williams was one dig short of completing her first double-double of the season, finishing with a team-high 23 assists to go along with nine digs. SEC Freshman of the Week Lily Felts totaled a team-high eight kills.
