Tennessee sits in fourth at even par with four players inside of the top 20
SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- Second round play at the Maryb S. Kauth Invitational has been canceled due to unplayable conditions.
Tennessee entered the day in fourth place after carding an opening round of 288 (E) with four players inside of the top 20 on the leaderboard. Sophomore Mariah Smith is the top Lady Vol on the leaderboard after a first round score of 71 (-1). Smith is tied for seventh entering the final round of play on Tuesday.
The tournament will be reduced to a 36-hole event with the final round scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m. (ET).
Tennessee will be paired with host UT-San Antonio (+3) and North Texas (+11) who sit in fifth and sixth place, respectively. The Lady Vols are scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m. (ET) with junior Micheala Williams set to be the first player to tee off.
