VOLLEYBALL CENTRAL: FSU-FAMU Classic/Kennesaw State

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee volleyball team will travel to Tallahassee this weekend to play in the FSU-FAMU Classic hosted by Florida State and Florida A&M at Tully Gymnasium and the Al Lawson Center on each campus.
The Big Orange (4-2) will kick off the Florida-Georgia swing by facing the 20th-ranked Seminoles of Florida State (5-1) on Friday at 6 p.m. in Tully Gymnasium. On Saturday, Tennessee will face Florida A&M (1-6) Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Al Lawson Center.
The Vols will then travel to Kennesaw to face Kennesaw State (5-1) on Sunday at 3 p.m. to close out the weekend road trip.
The match against Florida State can been seen on the ACC Network Extra and the WatchESPN App.

FLORIDA-GEORGIA SWING
- The Vols will play three matches this weekend.
- The first two will be a part of the FSU-FAMU Classic, where Tennessee will face Florida State on Friday night and then Florida A&M on Saturday.
- They will close out the weekend in Georgia when they face Kennesaw State on Sunday.
- The last time Tennessee played any of the teams they will face this weekend was back in 2014, when they faced Kennesaw State in the Coastal Carolina Tournament.
- They have never faced Florida A&M and the last time they faced Florida State was back in 2012 at a Classic hosted by Tennessee.
DIET COKE CLASSIC
- The Vols had a record-setting performance at the Diet Coke Classic hosted by the University of Minnesota.
- Tennessee went 1-2 over the weekend, defeating Texas San Antonio (3-1).
- The Vols fell to West Virginia (3-0) and No. 2 Minnesota (3-0).
- Brooke Schumacher made the All-Tournament Team for her performance.
- Schumacher recorded 36 digs, which was a career high and made her the program's all-time digs leader in four-set matches. She is also tied for fourth all-time in digs.
- Kendra Turner tied her career high in attacks with 52 against Texas San Antonio.
- Breana Jeter recorded new career highs with 29 attacks and 14 kills against Texas San Antonio.
