KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The 21st-ranked Tennessee soccer team continues SEC play this week with a Thursday home game against Auburn and a Sunday road match at No. 3 South Carolina.
The Vols (9-0-0, 1-0-0 SEC) are currently on their longest winning streak in program history riding into Thursday's 7 p.m. game against Auburn (4-3-1, 1-0-0) at Regal Soccer Stadium.
Admission and parking are free. The first 500 fans will receive a 2017 Tennessee soccer scarf. It is also $1 hot dog night at the concession stands with a kids carnival pregame and postgame autographs.
Sunday's match at South Carolina begins at 2 p.m.

RETURN TO RANKINGS
- Tennessee is back in the national rankings after appearing this week at No. 21 in the United Coaches poll and No. 16 in the Top Drawer Soccer poll.
- The first NCAA RPI was released this week; UT is No. 11.
FAST START
- Tennessee is off to an 9-0 start, tied for the program's longest winning streak ever (2004); it is the best opening to a season in program history, surpassing the 5-0 start to 2012.
- The Vols have outscored teams 21Â to 2 this season. Shae Yanez leads the SEC with 0.24 goals allowed/game.
- Newcomer Khadija Shaw leads the Vols with eight goals scored, 2nd in the SEC. Hannah Wilkinson led UT with 11 goals all of last season.
SCORELESS STREAK
- Tennessee had seven shutouts through nine games. The Vols had eight shutouts last year.
- The Vols went for 486 minutes without allowing a goal. Virginia Tech scored in the 53rd minute of the Vols' 3-1 victory to break the streak (9/10).
SEC OPENING WEEKEND
- The Lady Vols opened conference play with a 3-0 victory over Kentucky at home, running the team's winning streak to nine matches.
- Mary Alice Vignola provided the Vols' opening goal, and Khadija Shaw added a pair of goals.
- Shaw, the only player in conference to score multiple goals SEC opening weekend, was named the SEC Offensive Player of the Week for a second time this season.
